This is all the art that I made over all of Spring 2022 - After my exams are done (After Jan 15), I will begin more seriously studying anatomy, structure, shape theory, and how to color more realistically, so the quality of my art should really pick up after then. Enjoy!
January
Series of doodles from Stats. The first is of Nammur in a back view, so I could figure out the length and shape of his hair, since I've always imagined it as long, but I never really sought to draw it out completely. The second is Omega blepping, and the third is a really basic geometrical stylization of a bust of Nammur. Bored stuff.
Made a sticker of Omega for my new laptop after school! I carefully cut out everything from the scraps of the NASA sticker's backing I had left over. I actually left little cut marks in my desk because I pressed too hard through the cardboard I was using as a cutting board... Oops.
Cradle of 3d solids I made for my math teacher. The cradle took me 2 whole hours to tape together, the shapes themselves took me over the span of a month and a half to tape together :skull:. I think it looks nice. It's deceptively heavy and tall, it's almost 6 feet tall, and I think it might weigh like 3-4 pounds.
Another bored doodle from stats, it's another backview but of Omega where I was trying to figure out the shape and length of his hair, where I also redesigned the designs on the back of his ears and reduced his back-spike count down to one set of two instead of two sets of two. I think I did a good job despite this being a quick thing.
*zzzz* *wakes up* "Oh sorry about that, what's up?" // A couple of doodles I made to start the new semester. The standing pose was made with some structure and a perspective box, while the sleeping Nammur is freehanded. I've been busy with other stuff so I haven't taken focusing on studying structuring and shape theory too seriously lately. Hopefully 'Business Finance' will be my time to expand on my lazy doodles lol
A sketch of Omega, playing chess with an off-screen Nammur and losing sorely. This was some practice with using structuring and posing a bit. Made his head a bit too big, woops.
In a depressive stupor, I decided to make some random RGB image generations things using this Android app "AutoArt", and then edit them in paint.net for fun. I think even just these two, heavily edited, look really nice and cool.
"Angel of Why"
>> "Even his scythe refuses to reap."
I'm not feeling well.
February
Little doodles from my Business Finance class, comparing Nammur and Omega's heights. I really tried to structure them well in these, however I realize that their stance is kinda awkward and cringe, but I don't really care as I drew it in a small space so it's gonna be awkward.
Bored again in my Business Finance class, I drew Nammur with his hair pushed back over his head with clenched fists, stomping through a hall, because I wanted to try drawing him doing something other than standing around like a doofus. I also tried forming muscles on him, but my lack of experience with drawing those finer lines may make it look odd. I tried.
April
Tiny sketch I made while bored in Economics. I got da powa!
Monument to my awesome friend Izzy. This is our fursonas, Nammur the Goat and Harvey the Dog, chillin' on a wooden bench. :)
