Finally made it.
Colorado is so beautiful. Nebraska's wide open farm fields are wonderful, but it pales in comparison to when you're driving over the hills on I-80, and then looking out to your right and seeing everything for the next 10 miles over. When I had 100 miles left before I reached Denver and finally Golden, the only thing on the horizon was the Rocky Mountains. I was stunned the entire drive...
As for creativity and self-improving goes for today, this morning and after I arrived at my hotel, I continued decoration work on The Punisher, I got some nice words about my progress from the other staff on the 1.6 GDPS. I didn't have a whole lot packed with me in terms of food items so I had to buy a bowl of ramen from my hotel's front desk for dinner. :skull: I'm still hungry, but luckily I go shopping tomorrow so I can get all the ingredients and stuff that I want. Gonna be a big receipt... lol. I went down to my hotel's workout room to discover it's really really tiny. Like, my room that I'll be staying in for the next 3 months is at least twice the size of this workout room! It has a rack of dumbbells that only go up to 60 lbs, one single bench (at least it's reclinable), and 3 running machines which I don't know If I'll ever use. I'll keep going back for arm and chest exercises and maybe some leg stuff, but I'd need to find a gym somewhere if I wanted a more in-depth workout with the main lifts and such. Nevertheless, I did some curls at 30 lbs, some incline bb bench, some bench flys, etc. I came back to my room to do some push ups since I got exhausted after 10 minutes. I'm so out of shape.
I'm going to continue decorating Punisher for another 30 minutes or so, then hit the hay. I'm so excited I'm out here, a whole new world of experiences await me! =:3
